Well, even if not a "bug", it clearly is an issue that a) netatalk
needs multicast and b) Xen does not provide it.

What I meant was that I suspect netatalk cannot be made to not need
multicast.

It makes good sense to me that you try raise the issue that apparently
Xen does not support multitask in its emulated NIC. Maybe it is simply
a configuration option somewhere...
