This has been happening ever since i can remember, and it is still a problem in
4.8. As some have said above it seems to happen spuriously, but once it happens
the dirwatcher seems to get stuck quite often. It mostly appears when you have
a lot of activity (such as downloading something with kwooty, and sometimes
when you extract larger archives), my guess something is wrong with the inotify
(or whatever is being used) implementation.. so it's not really a bug that
belongs in dolphin, but rather in the appropriate KDE core component.
